I contacted Stephen to paint the outside of my house, both the render and the wooden beams as I'd been impressed by the work he had carried out on a neighbour's property. He came round straight away to review the job, gave me a quotation within 24 hours and a rough timescale to complete it. He provided regular updates and came round again before starting to ensure that we were both clear about the details. His team kept to the timescale exactly and the end result is better than I expected. I am extremely pleased with the job and have no hesitation in recommending Tynemouth Decorators Ltd to anyone who wants a job done properly. In addition, Stephen is a really good guy!

Work was carried out to a high standard and I was kept informed of progress. Great pains were taken to improve a wall which had suffered blistering of paint in the past and to tidy up the chimney breast after the installation of a wood burner. I have no hesitation in recommending the work of this company and intend using them again in the future.

Our experience with Stephen and Tynemouth Decorators Ltd was professional and transparent from initial contact through to completion. Stephen was honest about the quality of our walls and gave good advice to replaster for the best finish. They were able to both start the job a couple of days early, and finish a couple of days sooner than originally expected. Stephen was able to advise us on the colours that we chose. Paul and Callum who completed our job were kind, polite and respectful of our personal space whilst completing the job and have done an A* job. For 5 rooms, the initial price felt expensive, however considering cost of paint, labour and the inclusion of sanding, preparation, filling holes, ceiling, walls and woodwork, we realised the price was very reasonable. We would highly recommend these guys.

Tynemouth Decorators were very professional from start to finish in completing the Kitchen in record speed. Tony was very friendly and approachable in his work and Stephen was at hand to help with any inquires that we had about the process of applying the various paints and were we happy in each stage of the paint application. A professional, courteous and friendly service with sound advice offered from start to finish which included suggestions as to other tradespeople. I always felt that I was kept involved and there was great attention to detail from a team who clearly took pride in their workmanship. The kitchen/diner, staircase and passages were completed to an extremely high quality and slightly below the initial estimate. This is a firm that I have no hesitation in recommending and that I feel I can trust. I am already planning to use Tynemouth Decorators again in 2021. Tynemouth Decorators were recommended to us as the best company to repair and repaint all of the external paintwork on our old house. The recommendation was right. From the moment I emailed the company communication was brilliant. Paintwork, cost and dates were agreed striaght away. They came and did the work on the earliest date and did excellent, high quality work. They also respected the current social distancing rules without any problem. The team of people doing the work were very hard working, friendly and professional. I would definately recommend Tynemouth Decorators and will definitely be using their services again in the future!

I have become cynical about businesses who claim to offer an outstanding service and 100% satisfaction to customers, even if a 10/10 rating is confirmed for every review published so far! However, over the last two weeks I have been amazed and delighted to find that though rare, they still exist; Tynemouth Decorators Ltd is a fine example and they deserve every accolade going. Efforts from the whole team, from initial contact to the final day, resulted in our home being transformed to a superb standard. Stephen (Big Boss), Paul (Little Boss), Callum, Tony and Ben sailed through every room, paying attention to the kind of detail that results in outstanding workmanship and craftsmanship at every turn. Look no further for imaginative solutions to any problem! The respect shown to us by the team, to our home, and even our dogs, made for an excellent partnership - communication throughout the project was second-to-none. In fact, as the days wore on, it began to feel like a happy family was gathering - yes, really! Despite the current challenges of working whilst adhering to a raft of government advice and restrictions, and my own personal health issues, you have done an outstanding job lads. We find ourselves in that band of previous customers who cannot give you a rating less than 10/10 either. What a credit to the profession you are. Continue blazing the trail. Highly recommended, very high quality work. Tynemouth decorators took on my living room, hall and stairs and did a fantastic job. Prompt, hard working and produced wonderful results. Friendly staff that arrived on time and did a full day every day. Responsive to any queries I had and even helped me find other tradesmen for the rest of my project when I was let down. Can't fault them or recommend highly enough. I will only go to Tynemouth decorators now.

Tynemouth Decorators were punctual, efficient and hard working. The men were very friendly and polite. When it was discovered that the woodwork at the back of the house was quite rotten Steve was most helpful and concerned for us. He phoned around for estimates for window replacement for us and we followed his advice. Consequently the windows were replaced by a good firm he recommended. We were very pleased with the paintwork at the front of the house which was excellent and would highly recommend this firm.

Tynemouth Decorators did an outstanding job of repainting our entire home. The house is over 100 years old, and they skilfully kept and restored old features. We have previously renovated 2 Victorian houses so feel confident in our expectations and understating the requirements. Steve and the team still provided better solutions than we proposed - and far exceeded our expectations. They gave excellent advice and their technical knowledge was first class.The team were incredibly professional, courteous and friendly. Communication was excellent throughout, with clear updates provided at all milestones. Work was finished well within schedule. The quality of the finish was incredible. All edging was perfect, not a single issue across all surfaces and paintwork.Pricing was incredibly reasonable, especially given the outstanding quality of the work. They stuck to our original quote, despite a number of unexpected issues arising. They provided trusted recommendations on other trades people for other related services. We couldnât have asked for more.A big thank you to Steve, Paul and the rest of the team for a first rate job. Very highly recommended.

This is the second time we have used Tynemouth Decorators. We are very pleased with the work done on our bedroom, hallway and kitchen. It all looks great. Excellent advice from Stephen about suitable paint colours for a dark hallway. The company recently did some much needed decorating on my Mum's house. Stephen and his team were friendly and efficient. Painting walls,ceilings and woodwork In sitting room and orangery. Service was excellent. Care taken to cover furniture and help was given to put furniture back in place when the work was completed. They were punctual every day for two weeks, they took as much care of our possessions as we would. The quality of the decorating was outstanding as well as being very tidy limiting the disruption to our home. Stephen inspected the work every few days to ensure high standards even correcting old mistakes made by previous decorators. But it was the added value that Stephen brought as I asked for a half tin of paint for the walls to cover bangs that we would make over time. Stephen left a part tin for the walls, the doors and the white gloss. I would now use Stephen for recommendations of any other workmen I needed for repairs, carpeting or joinery. I have booked them to come back in January 2018 to decorate three other rooms.
