From initial contact, quote, fitting and after service I can't fault Hilbre. Mark arrived as arranged for the estimate, communication was excellent throught the process. John and Mally the fitters arrived on time, all work completed to an excellent standard and they went above and beyond to help me with an unconnected issue. Hilbre as a whole is a very professional business that takes good care of their customers. This is the second time I've used them and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Excellent service from beginning to end. I have used Hilbre Windows for previous projects (doors and a garage front conversion) and cannot praise their workmanship, and customer care more highly. From start to finish it is a pleasure to deal with Mark and the Hilbre Team. The fitters completed the job to an exceptionally high standard, with no damage at all to existing decor, and were a delight to have in our home. The finished job is excellent and I know from experience, that their follow up customer care continues for many years after the initial job. They literally are just a phone call away if needed, quick to repond and happy to offer advice. I would highly recommend and have done to friends and family.

Excellent customer service from start to finish as to be expected from a professional company. The sales manner was pleasant and relaxed thus helping me arrive at my final design choice despite several quotation requests. The installation went ahead as scheduled and was carried out by a first class experienced team who were courteous and tidy throughout. The after sales support was also excellent as I requested a retrofit lock change which was carried out with the minimum of fuss. I am delighted with the final installation and quality of the product and would thoroughly recommend Hilbre Windows to any one.

Mally and John did an excellent job in torrential rain. They took care to keep their path to the window clean and dry. There wasnât a bit of dust left anywhere. The whole team were courteous and attentive to our needs throughout.Nothing was too much trouble. The installer worked diligently and speedily through all weathers especially on the final day when I had a deadline to meet with the security alarm engineer. He is a skilful craftsman and we are very pleased with our new doors and windows.He was extremely tidy and removed all the existing installations and made good externally and internally. I would certainly use the services of Hilbre Windows again.

Top class service throughout the whole process. The response to our original enquiry was very quick, sales rep. I ordered a new UPVC door from Hilbre Windows and asked if they could fit a dog flap into the bottom section of the door to allow access for my dog into the back garden.The workmen arrived punctually to fit the new door, they were very pleasant and hard working. I am really pleased with the new door and the service I have received from Hilbre windows from start to finish.I chose this company due to good reviews I had read. I'm glad I didn't go with anyone else and I would definitely recommend Hilbre Windows to others. I have given them 10 out of 10 as there is nothing for me to criticise.

Mr Scudder came to advise us about which choices were available and which were recommended. His advice was spot on. The door and fitters arrived on time. Everything was packaged together, so installation went smoothly. The old door was over 100 years old and in a parlous condition. However the frame removal took some time because heavy timbers were used pre 1st WW. There was an accumulation of ancient dust and detritus, which was only to be expected. Despite this the new door and frame were in place by the end of Day 1. Although not completed the door was secure at this point. The fitters worked very well and accommodated our extra requests.They were careful to minimise mess, by spreading tarpaulins around the work area and clearing up at the day's end. Day 2 comprised sealing up and cleaning.In conclusion, others can be confident that Hilbre Windows will deliver a first class job.

Excellent service from start to finish, from the salesman to the fitters, to the office staff. The fitters respected my home and made sure everywhere was cleaned up at the end of each day. There were a couple of snags at the end but these were rectified without question and final payment was not requested until I was completely satisfied. Highly recommended.

At every stage we were kept informed of what was happening; the work was completed promptly and to a high standard. All workers were polite, clean and good at their job. There were two small timing delays in the flow of the project and these were due to delays from other trades (plasterer, electrician) but we were kept informed and a new date was negotiated to our convenience. The project manager from Hilbre Windows kept a close eye on the work and visited most days when the workmen were here. I felt we were in good hands and the whole thing went smoothly overall.

Very efficient service, responded very promptly to all enquiries. The three people who came to fit the windows always arrived on time, went the extra mile to ensure everything was fitted and sealed correctly and always cleared up after every visit. We would definitely use them again, living on the seafront comes with many challenges and we have definitely noticed a difference since having the new windows and doors, we're now draught free!

The standard of work for our conservatory was absolutely first class. From the digging out of the footings right through to the final plastering and electrics, we couldn't fault the quality of the materials used or the work done. Special mention for the brickwork which set the tone for the job, the brick match, the attention to detail when tying into the house, a real example of caring about the end result rather than just getting it done. The overall job did take longer than anticipated, but ultimately we would say it was worth the wait and we have no complaints at all about the end result.

From the outset. Hilbre and all of the staff were attentive, professional and offered competitive pricing on their products.Getting a quote was a breeze, as was having measurements taken and the installation couldn't have gone any better. Took the two lads less than 2 hours from arrival to departure to install the one window I ordered. They were courteous, knowledgeable and even hoovered up afterwards.I cant recommend Hilbre enough, forget the big players and stick with these guys you wont regret it 10/10 will use again.

The entire process from initial enquiry to completion was conducted with total professionalism combined with a friendly approach and total transparency. Mark was attentive and very helpful. The surveyors did their jobs as quickly and unobtrusively as possible. The fitters Mal and john were brilliant. Everywhere was left spotless at the end of each day. The work was conducted with our interests at heart which was important given the sub zero temperatures during the installation. 10 out of 10 all round.

Really good,from start to finish. I originally asked for a quote a few years ago but delayed the work for several reasons. Hilbre stuck in my mind , and although I did get another quote out of curiosity, I pretty well knew I'm go to Hilbre.What I most want from a contractor is to feel confident in the product,in the contractor's skills and in knowing I am getting what I wanted ,as far as possible. I felt if there was a problem we could discuss it and get it sorted,whether at the time or in the future. No patronising blokey stuff,just a normal,grown up business.The fitments themselves are smashing,I hoped they would look pleasant but they look much nicer that I imagined and I am really delighted with them. Visitors like them too. The work was carried out carefully and their use and care was explained too. No mess left to sort. Yippee!I would recommend them and for any future fitments Hilbre would be my first choice.

Everyone was very patient with me as I chose which door I wanted. Hilbre Windows did everything they said they were going to do and to the timescales they set. The product is perfect and the lads were exceptionally professional, clean and tidy and even cleaned up as they went along. The team at Hilbre windows have been brilliant right from the start. The initial appointment was long enough to provide all the required information, but not so long I was overloaded. They listened to my ideas and made suggestions that would offer the best window plans for our house, whilst still meeting my initial criteria. They then sent a quote via email, with all the additional information for me to read through in my own time. They didn't harass me like some other big company's to make a quick decision (which was very much appreciated!). The installation was incredibly smooth, they sent a team of two, who were professional and friendly. They were so tidy you would have never known they had been in. Mark answered some questions I had about the windows and didnt make me feel like i was asking silly questions, he even had the team of installers demo all the features and make sure i was happy. I would definitely recommend Hilbre Windows to anyone looking to get new double glazing on the Wirral. They definitely helped this be a stress free home improvement!

Quality of windows and door excellence. Pre visit by manager, excellence. Communication with manager excellence. Work csrried out - Wood split on inside of wooden panel for door, this was when a screw was fitted and the wood split, this was was acknowledged by workers. Small chip on new door, outside panel which was repaired. The seal at the top of the bathroom window had some gaps, which was repaired by workers when this was pointed out to the manager.

Hilbre Windows have just completed replacing our garage doors with a composite door and window to match our existing exterior. From start to finish, they have been a delight to work with. The design was my own which Mark was more than happy to work with. There was an initial consultation followed by a site visit for measurements, quickly followed by a concise and clear quotation. Ordering process was simple and the given date for installation was kept to. I received a call on the Friday before the start date to give a time their team would arrive. They were here at 8.30am on the day and were a real pleasure to have at our home. Our driveway was left immaculate at the end of each day and if they had to leave to collect materials, they let us know. They took such pride in their work and the finished result was exceptional. I have used Hilbre Windows previously and the reason I keep returning is the quality of their workmanship, their level of customer service and the continuing support they provide. They are not a âhere one minutes gone the nextâ company. They are well established and best of all, local. There was a small issue with one of the fittings, which Mark was very quick to rectify, which speaks volumes for this company. Their aim is always customer satisfaction. Used Hilbre windows many times and would not use any other company for windows and doors. We ordered a Rock door and double glazed unit to be fitted, the door is a significant improvement on what we had and although expensive, we consider it a good security and environmental investment. The fitters arrived on time and were extremely professional and tidy fitting the installation in good time. The door seems to have settled in well is easier to use than on day one. Would recommend Hilbre windows.

I am delighted with the sliding door that has been installed. From start to finish the service was excellent. Everything was explained clearly before work started. We had a front door and 3 windows fitted as well as the conservatory updated with new windows and a glass roof.The staff employed directly by Hilbre Windows were first class. They were punctual each day, worked continuously through out the day and worked to an extremely high standard. All staff were polite and courteous and answered any questions we had along the way with confidence.They left the area they worked in clean each evening and ensured once all the work was completed the whole area was thoroughly cleaned before leaving.I would not hesitate to recommend Hilbre Windows, they are everything they claim to be, an efficient family run business with the customer at the heart of everything they do. Our initial query about replacing the double glazing on one of our windows was dealt with efficiently. We also wanted to change the window-opening from the right hand side to the left hand side. This was arranged with no fuss or problem. On the day the work was carried out, the two window-installers arrived within the time-slot that had been allocated. They were efficient, tidy and very polite. They did a good job, and the area was left clean and tidy. We are very pleased.

This is the second time I have used Hilbre Windows, once for my windows and now to replace wood Tudor design on the front of my house. I have had the same experience both times. They are very helpful whilst choosing, they deliver on time, the price never changes , the quality of the goods are brilliant , I've never had to call them back and the guys that fit are always polite, nothing is too much trouble and I am a bit of a perfectionist so that means a lot from me so will definitely be going back when need arises.

This company installed 5 Victorian double glazed windows recently. The windows were Rehau Heritage (Ecoslide) rated A+. I would recommend them strongly and would definitely use them again for other work. The customer service provided by Brian and his team was excellent and in sharp contrast to other companies that I approached for quotes. The price is not dirt cheap - but this is (hopefully) a once in a lifetime investment and the windows have a 10 year guarantee. As this company is popular, the lead time from order to fitting can be around 3 months. This in itself indicates that they are the company to go to. When the two fitters arrived they showed a great work ethic and worked long hours with barely a break for lunch. The work was very professional and completed within two days. They tidied up nicely afterwards and worked well as a team. I did have a problem with one of the window locks not operating properly and Brian (the MD) came out quickly and replaced it himself. The windows transformed the house and keep the noise out, the heat in and can be easily cleaned due to a hinge mechanism. I was going to restore the old 2ry glazing but the windows are so good this was not needed. Insurance is included in the cost. As well as the Hilbre guarantee there is also fallback insurance from HomePro. I would recommend doing your homework when buying double glazing. I did and am very pleased with the company and the results.

Canât say enough about this company. Everyone of them went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. They had the goalposts moved on them a couple of times but nothing was too much trouble for them. They were all polite and respectful and even did the extra little job that I needed doing. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

From the first visit by Mark to the completion of the fittings I was treated with courtesy,respect ,and honesty . There was no sales pressure or hurry . I was informed at every stage of the process and when contacting the company always got a swift answer to any query. When the work was being carried out the fitters were again courteous ,respectful of covid .requests and boundaries ,punctual ,cleared up every scrap of debris and even hoovered up after themselves! . Finally they noted a minor fault in one of the new windows -after they had finished -and immediately went back to their base and came back and fitted a replacement within 30 minutes . I am disabled and they cheerfully moved any furniture or other items that I couldnt manage (and replaced them!) The whole process was pleasant and efficient .Also ecxellent value for money . I am delighted with the result . I would recommend this firm to enyone.

I never felt pushed at all in accepting the quote for new windows and doors (the quote was very reasonable) and I was delighted that people turned up on the days and times they informed me of. The Office staff were really pleasant and polite and I was not made to feel like a nuisance when asking for details. The window fitters excelled themselves with their punctuality, professionalism, friendliness and willingness to do a good job. Initial discussions very good understood exactly what we wanted and showed us mock photos of how it would look. Installation delayed due to covid issues. The initial meeting with Mark to assess the widows and french doors was exactly what I like - up front, no nonsense, fair quote for a quality product. A start date was arranged, and I booked annual leave. However due to staff sickness my start date was postponed, but when Mark contacted me with news and an apology I was offered a reduction in the price as compensation and a new start date was arranged. The work was completed to a very high standard. I am extremely happy with the work, the product and the customer service.

I can't praise Mark and the team from Hombre Windows highly enough. From initial meeting through to completion and follow up. Mr Scudder listened to my ideas and came up with practical solutions and an excellent design. Hilbre worked carefully with their chosen approved Guardian Roof team (CRS Solutions) and extreme care was taken by all designers to ensure that measurements were exact. The existing base was used but the shape of the conservatory was very awkward to manage. The fitters (Paul and Ben) worked solidly to construct the re-designed window and roof structures all of which passed Wirral Council Building Regulations requirements. The fitters couldn't have been more helpful or considerate and tidied all debris away each day leaving all areas clean and usable. The plasterers made an excellent job of completing the final insulation layer and ceiling skim. Mark the electrician also couldn't have been more helpful. The Hilbre team ensured that what was an old, leaking and un- usable conservatory space was turned into a room that can be used all year round. I am delighted and highly recommend this firm.

From first quote to final installation I cannot fault the service from Hilbre Windows. We had a new front and back door installed. Despite a thunderstorm, the fitters were extremely quick, professional, tidy and friendly. The standard of work done and the quality of the doors and fittings supplied were second to none. Initially I had contacted the company as my porch and front door had been damaged and was no longer secure. Within a very short time, a representative from the company visited and by the following day, my property was once again secure. After some discussion, it was decided to replace the whole of the porch. During the installation, the fitter discovered unacceptable and potentially dangerous work that had been carried out by the previous company. He dealt with it efficiently and safely with the minimum of fuss. The quality of his work was excellent and he was meticulous about cleaning the area and clearing up. I cannot recommend highly enough Hilbre Windows. From the first visit by Mark with his professional, warm and friendly manner up to the day of fitting it was an excellent seamless process. The quality of the product is second to none; I have a fab front door that looks as beautiful as a traditional wooden door and which provides both elegance and security. The advice Mark gave me on the different types of products was tailored to my own specific requirements but there was absolutely no pressure or obligation to purchase. The work was phased as some leaded lights needed encapsulation. The different teams that fitted the windows were very efficient in fitting them, making little mess which was always promptly cleared up, and completing the fitting in the shortest possible time. All apartment windows replaced. Great service from all concerned. Small delay and refit needed for one window due to misunderstanding of exact proportions/ requirements. The recommended large tilt and turn window has totally transformed our living room..... the tilt option making the low-sill window much safer for visiting small children. All affected plasterwork carefully reinstated so we have not needed to do any redecoration.
